The Migration Conference 2018 Lisbon

ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management and IGOT - Instituto de Geografia e Ordenamento do Território, da Universidade de Lisboa, will be hosting The Migration Conference 2018, Lisbon, from the   26 th to the 28 th of June, 2018

The conference will be a forum for discussion, where experts, professors, young researchers and students working in the field of migration are encouraged to share their knowledge and experience in a friendly and frank environment.

The conference is structured around thematic panels, with about 100 parallel sessions, which focus on the following topics: migration, migrant and non-migrant populations, diasporas and migration policies. The aim is to address the issue of human mobility in all its aspects. 

The scientific program will include oral presentations, posters and spaces for debate and discussion. 

The guest speakers will be announced and confirmed shortly. The following have spoken at previous editions of the conference: Douglas Massey, Saskia Sassen, Oded Stark, Giuseppe Sciortino, Caroline Brettell, Barry Chiswick and Karen Phalet.
