Universidade de Lisboa hosts the 1st Rede MAR Conference

 

1st Annual Conference | Rede MAR | BLUE LISBON

 

17th of November | Salão Nobre in the Rector’s building of ULisboa
 
The interdisciplinary network for the topic entitled ‘Mar’ (Rede MAR) is an initiative promoted by the Rector’s Office of the Universidade de Lisboa (ULisboa) to enrich the skills set of research and development in an area which is strategically important for both the region and the country.
 
Through its 18 schools, ULisboa brings together very competitive research groups in the areas of the Environment and Welfare, Geo and Bio Prospection and Oceanography.
 
The founding group of experts of this Network has prepared an analysis of the internal skill set and has discussed the major challenges for the economic development of this sector.
 
The 1st Annual Conference Rede MAR will provide an opportunity to share these thoughts with the academic community of Lisbon and thus strengthen the teamwork that has enabled the University to marks its presence as a strategic partner at an International level.
