The MIT Portugal Programme, which is an initiative of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), is a collaboration between universities, Portuguese research centres, companies, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), which seeks to promote investment in science, technology and higher education for economic and social development in Portugal.
In this context, the MIT Portugal Programme has opened a competition for the following International PhD Programmes:
– Leaders for Technology Industries
– Sustainable Energy Systems
– Transport Systems
The application period is now open for the following Advanced Learning Courses:
– Bioengineering Systems (Advanced Course)
– Technology Management Enterprise (Executive Master's)
– Sustainable Energy Systems (Executive Master's)
The PhD programmes and the Advanced Learning Courses are taught by a consortium of Portuguese Universities and Research Centres , in collaboration with MIT faculty members.
Those students interested in developing research or in following a career in systems engineering have here a unique opportunity to interact with the best that Portugal and MIT have to offer.
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree (4-5 years), or a Bologna Post-Bachelor's degree of an Integrated Master's, or the equivalent.
In addition, students must have a good command of English.
