ISEG marks its presence at Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil

ISEG marked its presence at the " XIV Brazil Portugal Seminar – Corporate Internationalisation ", which was held on the 7th of November at USP – Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil.

The Brazil Portugal Seminar has been organised for the last 14 years by ISEG and Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brasil. The XIV Brazil Portugal Seminar  acted as a precursor to the "  SemeAD – XX Management Seminars PPGA/FEA/USP – University-Business Knowledge Transfer ", which was held at Universidade de São Paulo from the 8 to 10 November.

ISEG was represented by Professor Manuel Mira Godinho (Vice-Dean of ISEG, Chairman of the Scientific Board, and a keynote speaker at the event), Professor Joaquim Ramos Silva (Head of the Department of Economics and the organiser of the event) and Filomena Ferreira (Advisor to the Dean's Office for International and Public Relations Public and organiser of the event.

During the XIV Brazil Portugal Seminar, Professor Manuel Mira Godinho addressed the Magna Conference on "Knowledge Management in the Scope of the University – Business Relationship: Is there anything new? ", having been invited to participate in SemeAd, also as a keynote speaker, to talk about "Determinants of the scientific impact of nations".

Professor Joaquim Ramos Silva talked about "The Microfoundation of Dynamic Capacities concept of strategy by using a practice lens through the lens of strategy as a practice", the result of joint research with UNIVALI – Universidade do Vale do Itajaí, Brasil".
