On the 30 th of May, at the Fundação D. Pedro IV, Junior Achievement Portugal will present the 15 mini-company finalists, created by young university-level entrepreneurs, who are going to compete in the 11 th Competition of the National Start Up Programme.
ISEG will be represented in this competition by two teams (BarMe and ChargeIn).
The JA Start Up Programme offers post-secondary school students aged 19-30 the opportunity to experience managing their own business by giving them insight into how their skills can be used to develop a business. By participating in the Start Up Programme, they live a real business world experience: developing a concept, preparing a investment proposal and a business plan, whilst taking responsibility of managing the company for the shareholders. Throughout the programme they can count on the support and advice of volunteers and business consultants.
