Scholarship in Science and Technology Management | Enrolment now open

Enrolment is now open for applications for a Scholarship in Science and Technology Management (BGCT), as part of the programme of activities of The Portuguese Social Information Archive (APIS), which is part of the

PASSDA – Production and Social sciences Archive 
Research Network(Project No. 022210), which is co-financed by the Regional Operations Programme of Lisbon, the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), and the Science and Technology Foundation (FCT), with national funding (PIDDAC), as part of the degree of the Social Sciences Institute of Universidade de Lisboa, coordinated by Doctor Pedro Magalhães. 

Admission requirements: 

Masters or PhD in Social Sciences, or in Information and Documentation Sciences. 

The following are preferential requirements: 

a) Experience in the above-mentioned fields at a functional level as a curator of research information; 

b) Experience in research projects, especially studies involving surveys;

c) Experiência em trabalhar com bases de dados resultantes de inquéritos quantitativos à população; d) Fluência, oral e escrita, da língua inglesa. 

Formalisation of applications by the 1
st of October
: applications must be accompanied by a motivation letter, demonstrating interest in this area of activity, accompanied by a detailed curriculum vitae, photocopies of university certificate (s), and complete identification (or, optionally, a copy of the applicant’s identity card, citizens card, or passport).

Applications should be sent within the above-mentioned deadline to the Social Sciences Institute of Universidade de Lisboa (with the reference "Contest for a Scholarship in Science and Technology Management No. 24/2018) by e-mail
concursos.bolsas@ics.ulisboa.pt, or by post addressed to Avenida Professor Aníbal de Bettencourt, No. 9 – 1600-189 LISBOA. If the applications are sent by e-mail, the above-mentioned documents must be scanned and attached to the application.
