This year, ISEG will host the opening event of the 24th Edition of INOVContacto, an international internship programme, which is coordinated by AICEP and supported by the European Union.
This initiative is scheduled to take place from the 27th to the 30th of January, starting with a Welcome Seminar on International Practices, which has become a reference event for professionals at the start of their career.
“ISEG’s DNA is made up of initiatives which help young people seek international challenges and which equips them with the necessary tools to take an active role in society. In addition to the usual Career Management panels, I would call your attention to the sessions on the 17 Objectives for Sustainable Development (ODS) of the UN, which is a core topic for ISEG”, explains Professor Clara Raposo, Dean of ISEG.
200 young graduates will be present, who will receive four days of intensive training, which has been designed by ISEG professors, covering such topics as the future of organisations, leadership skills, entrepreneurship, and personal marketing, among other topics, with the aim of preparing them for a six months of internship abroad.
The Secretary of State for Tourism, Rita Baptista Marques, will attend the opening of the event by Professor Ana Morais, Vice-Dean of ISEG, and also the Chair of AICEP, Luís Castro Henriques. The following will be present at the closing ceremony on the 30th of January: the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Augusto Santos Silva, the Chair of Turismo de Portugal, Luís Araújo, and the Dean of ISEG, Professor Clara Raposo.
The INOVContacto international internship programme won the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) in 2019 and was distinguished by the European Commission for one of the three projects which best contributes to improving entrepreneurship skills.
