The Official Opening of the 2022-2023 Academic Year took place on the 9th March, 2023. Apart from the address by the Dean of ISEG, Professor João Duque, the Magnificent Rector of Universidade de Lisboa, Professor Luís Ferreira and the Chair of the Students Association, Carolina Flores, also spoke.
This year the Department of Economics was responsible for the Knowledge Lecture, which was delivered by Professora Joana Pais, Vice-Dean of ISEG, whose lecture was entitled: “Market Design: An App”.
We highlight the presence of our prize-winning students and the representatives of ISEG’s numerous partner entities which sponsored these prizes, namely: Associação Mutualista Montepio, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Deloitte, EDP, EY, Fundação Económicas, KPMG, IAPMEI, PHD, PWC, and AEISEG. We are also grateful for the support of former benefactors Otelinda and Carlos Silveira for funding scholarships. Those members of faculty who were voted as being outstanding last academic year were also honoured during the ceremony, as were those who had retired and those who have taken on new responsibilities at ISEG.
