History

The Masters in Economics and Public Policy was launched in the 2007-2008 Academic Year, 2018-2019 being its 12 th Edition.

Objectives

The objectives of the Masters differ according to students' needs. For the student more inclined towards research who wishes to further their studies into the 3 rd Cycle, the Masters should be studied with a view to producing a dissertation. For the student who wishes to develop greater contact with the implementation of public policies in projects related to specific institutions, then the Masters will be orientated towards the elaboration of a project for an institution (public or non-profit), resulting in project work.

Employment

The Masters in Economics and Public Policy aims to provide a postgraduate education for all graduates in Economics, or other degrees considered relevant (Engineering, Management, Public Administration, and Law) who wish to continue their academic curriculum with the aim of pursuing a profession in areas of public policy, and who aim to strengthen and update their theoretical and technical knowledge and have contact with the recent methods for analysing public policies, both at an academic and a technical level. The Masters is also designed for students who have completed a postgraduate training (at INA, or ISEG, or another university) and who wish to pursue their studies up to Masters level.
