Program

The course is divided into 3 parts: the first two correspond to an introduction to the planning concepts and territorial planning and its implementation in the instruments of European and national level, and at national level will be considered the various scales of analysis (national, regional, municipal and local / urban). The remaining chapter focuses on the relationship between the population and the planning processes and territorial planning, which will reflect on the importance of human resources in development processes and spatial planning, particularly in its relationship with the urban network.

- Introduction to spatial planning and its methodologies: at the national, regional, municipal and urban level;
- The demographic variables in spatial planning;
- The national case study: brief characterization of the territory; the main territorial development programmes.
