Faculty Adviser in the CFA Institute Research Challenge, hosted by CFA Society Portugal
Equity Research competition between the "Ivy League" (Católica Lisbon SBE, Católica Porto, ISCTE, Minho (EEG), Porto (FEP) and NOVA SBE)
ISEG’s international team of students from the MSc Finance, for five years in the last six editions, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2022 won the Local Challenge of the CFA Institute Research Challenge competition in Portugal
For three consecutive years, 2018, 2019, and 2020, ISEG's team won the EMEA Reginal semi-final and qualified to the EMEA Regional Final - top 4
- 1 st place in 2022 (Portuguese representative in the EMEA finals)
- 2 nd place in 2021
- 1 st place in 2020 (Portuguese representative in the EMEA finals in the Dead Sea Area, Jordan)
The ISEG's team won the Group 8 of the EMEA semifinal and qualified to the EMEA final. Video 1

In the 2019 edition participated more than 1,200 universities around the world and only about 25 teams (~2%) reached the finals.
- 1 st place in 2018 (Portuguese representative in the EMEA finals in Dublin, Ireland)
The ISEG's team won the Group 4 of the EMEA semifinal and qualified to the EMEA final amongst the top 4 teams in the EMEA Region B
In the 2018 edition participated more than 1,100 universities around the world from 85 countries. Only 2% of the teams reached the finals.
