Rules for the Resit Exam

 

 

 

·       The submission of the answers to the exam will take place in MSForms. Therefore, students must confirm that they can do the login in Office 365 Office 365 (see with the ISEG IT team if you have problems - 213925855).

 

 

 

·        The exam starts at 6:00 pm and has 3 parts, each lasting 30 minutes, with an interval of 15 minutes between each part, with the first 5 minutes of the interval dedicated to uploading the files with the answers. Thus, the detailed exam schedule is as follows:

 

1.   From 6 pm to 6:30 pm – Part  I

 

2.   From 6:30 pm to 6:45 pm – First interval (the initial 5 minutes for file submission)

 

3.   From 6:45 pm to 7:15 pm – Part II

 

4.   From 7:15 pm to 7:30 pm – Second interval (the initial 5 minutes for file submission)

 

5.   From 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm – Part III

 

6.  From 8:00 pm to 8:05 pm – submission of the final part of the exam

 

·       The questions of each Part of the Exam, and the link to submit the answers in MSForms, are available in ÁQUILA. To access it the student must go to Student Portal – Submit -Worksheets - Production and Operations Management, and select the Worksheet with the name of the group to which they will respond.

 

·       All answers must be handwritten with a pen on white sheets, and the “ProcessNumber_FirstLastName” and “Page x/total” should be written on the header of each answer sheet. That means, students should clearly number the pages with the answers to the exam, indicating the page number, and the total number of pages submitted. Any answer deemed illegible for any reason, will be not considered. In each question students should highlight their final answer.

 

·        All students should have with them a pen, a calculator, enough paper, the statistical tables, and the formulae (available on webpage of the curricular unit);

 

·        If any student does not have access to ÁQUILA, the first thing to do is close the session, and start another session to check if he/she already have access via the “Worksheets” menu. If they still do not have access, they should report the case via Zoom chat to the teacher in their Zoom Room.

 

·       Students must write “I received the questions from Group X of the POM Resit Exam”, in the text box that appears below the questions in ÁQUILA.

 

·       The questions of each Part of the Exam are also available on the link for submitting responses on MSForms, just for redundancy reasons.

 

·       Part I and Part II have a quotation of 7 points each, and Part III a quotation of 6 points.

 

·       The roll call starts 15 minutes before the exam starts. At that time, students must be in the Zoom room assigned to them. If the roll call is not completed at 9 am it will continue during the exam' intervals and at the end of the exam.

 

·       In the Zoom room, students must identify themselves with their student number and first and last name as follows: “ProcessNumber_FirstLastName”

 

·       Students must answer “present” in Zoom's chat and show their identification, when the roll call is made.

 

·       In the Zoom room, students should have their video camera permanently on.

 

·       Mobile phones must be switched off unless used to connect to Zoom. Students who are going to use the mobile phone's video camera should inform the teacher in the Zoom chat if they need to turn it off at the time of submission to take pictures.

 

·       It is not allowed to use headphones or earphones.

 

·       Students can quit the exam during the first half hour by sending a sheet with their student Number and Full Name, and writing “I quit the POM Resit Exam”, and signing below. This sheet should be sent to the email gracamsilva@iseg.ulisboa.pt.  Then, the student must inform the Zoom room teacher, by chat, of his/her withdrawal, and they can leave the Zoom platform after the affirmative answer, also by chat, of the Zoom teacher.

 

·       If there is a problem, and it is necessary to submit the handwritten answers by email, only responses sent through ISEG's institutional email will be accepted.

 

·       These procedures are in accordance with the Rules and Regulations for Exams for the 2nd semester 2019-2020 already disclosed by ISEG’s Deanship. In addition to this specific rules, students must abide with the  Rules and Regulations available on this link     (Pedagogical Board of ISEG).
