Economics II (2 º Sem 2019/2020)

Dear Student,

I hope you are well. For those that will be taking the resort epoch exam next Thursday, 2 July 2020, at 9 am, please follow the instructions below:

1) The exam will take place in the virtual channel in Teams called "Economics II_Recursos".

2) For the students that did not pass or did not attend the normal epoch exam, please make sure that you see this channel in TEAMS and that your name is already in the list of members. Otherwise, please send me an email at lcatao@iseg.ulisboa.pt, stating your name and student registration name, requesting your inclusion in the group. If your name is not registered in this group, you will NOT be able to take the exam.

3) For the students that passed the normal epoch exam and are or will be registered to take the exam to improve their grades, please check whether your name is included in the TEAMS channel "Economics II_Recursos" around 1 pm of Tuesday, June 30th, since the underground secretariat will let me know those names for inclusion only 48 hours before the exam. If your don't see your name in that TEAMS channel by next Tuesday afternoon, please send me an email.

4) For the students registered for improvement and whose grade turn out to be equal or superior to 14 and an improvement over the normal epoch exam please note the guidelines from the document issued by the presidency of the ISEG on May 8, paragraphs 5.2. and 7.1, both of which allow for the possibility of an oral exam at a later date.

5) Like in the normal epoch exam, the exam will consist of 20 multiple choice questions with no penalization for wrong answers, and will have a duration of one hour. Five extra minutes will be given to ensure successful submission of the answers.

6) Like in the normal epoch exam, the questions will cover all the taught material, from lecture 1 to lecture 20.

7) I ask that all students be online and tuned to the "Economics II_Recursos" channel in TEAMS at least 10 minutes before exam, i.e., at 8:50 on 2 July 2020 to make sure that connectivity problems are not an issue.

8) Other guidelines that were applicable to the Normal Epoch exam apply, except that the exam should NOT be recorded as per the guidelines of the ISEG scientific council.
