Case Studies in Financial Engeneering (1 º Sem 2018/2019)

Dear Students,

New schedules for both classes have been released, due to an additional group in S72 class and an agenda constraint of one student in S92.

In the latter, the dates for cases 5 and 6 have been changed. Please let us know if this raises any difficulty.

Dear Students,

We have just released the schedule for the presentation and discussion of the cases considered in the course.

Two major issues arose:

(i) there is a group (No.4) with just two students, that cannot be accepted (the minimum number of students is 3). Therefore we request these students to integrate other Groups (with less than 5 students already) and to let us know about these decisions asap;

(ii) Class S92 has a high number of working groups (11). Consequently, in most cases we'll have a very challenging agenda, with 2 groups presenting and 2 groups discussing. In order to mitigate this difficulty, we leave you 2 suggestions: (1) for students in groups with just 3 participants, try to move to other groups, as long as the maximum number of 5 students is respected; (2) move to S72 class, as long as you are able to attend all lectures in this class.

Please let us know any changes you might wish to do accordingly.

Dear students,

A new schedule for class S72 has just been uploaded, with a new working group and a typo correction.

According to the information provided in the introductory lectures, we strongly recommend you to enroll working groups and we still have almost 30 students to be enrolled.

Additional students enrolled will be very welcome until the end of the current week.
