Mathematics I (1 º Sem 2019/2020)

- The resit exam consists of 2 parts;

- A student may keep the grade obtained on the midterm test by not submitting the first part of the exam;

- If the student just takes the second part of the exam, two requirements should be met: (i) the sum of grades must be 9.5/20 or over and (ii) the second part has to be graded at least 3.5/10;

- In the case the student answers the full exam, the only requirement for passing the unit is to obtain a minimum grade of 9.5/20;

- If the student has already obtained a pass grade and aims to improve the grade, he or she must take the full exam (with no special requirement for each one of the parts).

The students that did not obtain a pass grade this time, may take the exam again on February 5.

Because of a question posed by a colleague of yours that could not attend the exam, I checked with the President of the Pedagogic Council and can offer more liberal rules for the resit exam, as follows:

- The resit exam consists of 2 parts just as the exam you just took;

- The rules are exactly the same (in particular, a student may keep the grade obtained on the midterm test by not submitting the first part of the exam).

Note that if student has already obtained a pass grade and aims to improve the grade, must take the full exam (that is, the two parts).

A session extra, before the exam, will take plave on January 10, at 10:30 (room to be booked at Francesinhas 1).
