Monetary and Financial Economics (2 º Sem 2019/2020)

Dear students,

Part A, with the multiple-choice questions, of the EMF exam, held today 17 June, is considered null.

In fact, due to an incident with parameterization in the MS Forms system, the students' answers to the multiple choice questions in Part A, received in the system, were anonymous, making their treatment unfeasible in assessment terms. This technical incident, which we regret, affecting all students, invalidates this part of the exam, so Part A of the exam will have to be repeated.

Part B, with the answers to the open questions, was meanwhile analysed and properly recovered by the teaching stsff  - among those that were successfully submitted via MS Forms and those that arrived via email, as a backup solution. There is therefore no reason to repeat Part B of the exam.

In a first communication from the teaching staff, a date was set that presents some problems of reconciliation with other exams on the same day for a significant number of students who raised their concerns, to which we are naturally sensitive.

Thus, in order to maintain the nature of an effective solution in a short time period, and after consulting the ISEG Pedagogical Council on the subject, and the Presidency of ISEG, in cc in this message, we scheduled the realization of a new Part A of the EMF exam, with multiple choice questions, for next Saturday, June 20th, at 10:30 am.

Therefore, this allows disconnecting this part of the exam from any commitments with other exams on the same day, so that, within the constraints that we recognize that this situation represents for all our students, we can achieve an efficient solution for this unforeseen and unexpected situation, which affected a part of the exam.
