Production and Operations Management (2 º Sem 2019/2020)

Dear students,

 This message has the purpose of detailing the procedures adopted for the final exam in Production and Operations Management curricular unit.

Assessment:

- The curricular unit evaluation consists of a final exam, weighting 65% of the final grade, and the two online quizzes that took place during class schedule, with a joint weight of 35%.

- The continuous evaluation will only be considered if it benefits the student's final grade. Students must, however, have a minimum grade of 9 out of 20 values in the final exam for the continuous evaluation to be considered. The continuous evaluation will only be considered in two periods of examination (regular period exam and resit exam).

For students who miss the quizes, the final exam will be weighted 100%.

Final Exam:

-The regular period exam will take place on June 19^th at 9 a.m. (the previously scheduled date);

-The exam will cover all topics of the syllabus, except the final one on technology and operations management.

- The final exam will have three parts. The duration of each part is 30 minutes. After part I students will have an interval of 10 minutes before starting part II. The same will occur between part II and part III. For all parts, the answers to questions must be handwritten and submitted through MSforms. Questions of each part will be available through AQUILA as well as the link to submit the files with handwritten answers. Students must answer the questions in plain unlined white paper. The student's full name and number must be handwritten in the header of all answer sheets.

- All students should have with them a pen, a calculator, enough paper, the statistical tables, and the formulae (available on webpage of the curricular unit);

- For surveillance purposes, students must be in the Zoom Room 15 minutes before the start of the exam and must be connected throughout the exam period with a camera turned on.

- Additional information, such as the link for the Zoom Rooms will be provided in course webpage.

These procedures are in accordance with the Rules and Regulations for Exams for the 2nd semester 2019-2020 already disclosed by ISEG’s Deanship. Students must abide with the  Rules and Regulations available on this link (Pedagogical Board of ISEG).
