Objectives

Consolidate communication skills in German acquired from the previous course German I (European Framework of Reference for Languages A1).
Consolidate communication skills in the German language in various topics concerning personal information and studies.
Expanding knowledge of phonetics.

Program

Language learning outcomes:
By the end of the course students will be able to do the following in German:
- Master the basic use of the language necessary in order to read and write basic German;
- Assimilate basic and elementary grammar rules of the German language ( cases - first verb conjugations in the present and past);
- Describe common situations, locations and people (physical characteristics, as well as feelings);
- Ask and answer questions regarding basic information about making appointments, giving and receiving directions in the city, transports, telephoning and organizing a get-together with friends;
- Read and understand simple and easy texts about daily life, as well as express likes and dislikes and preferences;
- Write brief texts regarding daily life and routines.

Assessment Methodology

FINAL TEST LEVEL A1.2 (MODEL LINGUAGEST)
- Evaluation of lexicon-grammar;
- Evaluation written and morphology and syntactic structures;
- Listening and Speaking skills;
- Writing.
