Resumo
Utilizar sistemas de informação permite às organizações de saúde o seu desenvolvimento, através da utilização de dados fidedignos, tornando as decisões clínicas e administrativas mais informadas. Assim, é primordial capacitar e envolver os profissionais de saúde, para a utilização dos mesmos.
O objetivo deste estudo centrou-se na identificação dos fatores que influenciam a aceitação dos sistemas de informação por parte dos profissionais de saúde, assim como compreender que benefícios referentes à gestão e tratamento dos utentes se observam com a utilização de sistemas de informação de saúde (SIS). Assim, foi construído um modelo de investigação com base na The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Tecnhology, tendo sido recolhidos dados através de um questionário enviado a profissionais de saúde e validado com recurso ao SmartPLS 3.0.
Concluiu-se que a influência social e área geográfica apresentam um papel significativo na intenção de utilizar SI em saúde. Não foi possível atestar a influência significativa das condições facilitadoras no comportamento de uso, assim como o efeito positivo da intenção de uso no comportamento de uso de SI. Embora se tenha verificado que os profissionais de saúde reconhecem os benefícios dos SIS, não se constatou uma relação significativa entre o comportamento de uso de SIS e a criação de benefícios.

The use of information systems (IS) by healthcare organizations is fundamental to their development, enabling the use of reliable data, which allows better-informed clinical and administrative decisions. It is essential to empower and involve healthcare professionals to use IS.
The objective of the study was to identify the factors that influence the acceptance of information systems, as well as to understand the benefits related to the management and treatment of patients observed by the use of health information systems. A research model was built, based on The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, data were collected through a questionnaire sent to health professionals and validated using SmartPLS 3.0.
The study concluded that the social influence and geographical area both play a significant role in the intention to use health information systems (HIS). However, it was not possible to verify the significant influence of facilitating conditions on user behaviour, as well as the positive effect of the intention to use on the user behaviour of IS. Despite finding that healthcare professionals recognize the benefits of health information systems, there was no significant relationship between the behaviour of using HIS and the emergence of benefits.
