The Portuguese Marking System
The Portuguese marking system is characterised by the following features:
1. Marks range from 0 (zero) to 20 (twenty).
2. Final marks are integers.
3. Pass-mark is 10 (ten).
4. Marks greater or equal than 14 correspond to "honours."
5. Marks from 10 to 20 are divided in four sub-groups:
o From 10 to 13, classification is "Sufficient."
o From 14 to 15, classification is "Good."
o From 16 to 18, classification is "Very Good."
o From 19 to 20, classification is "Excellent."
