Pós-Graduação em Logística Internacional e Transporte Marítimo | Parceria entre Universidade de Oviedo e a Universidade de Lisboa

A partnership agreement has been signed between the University of Oviedo and Universidade de Lisboa regarding the Postgraduation in International Logistics and Maritime Transport.

This course is the result of an initiative of the University of Oviedo and the University of Corunna, which has now been enlarged to include ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management, and is regulated by the Agreement conferring the identical equality, rights and obligations, by which each university nominates a representative, who together constitute the Parity Committee.

The programme of the Potsgraduation is organised in the form of lectures and distance learning. The enrolment period is now open.

Objectives of the Course
- To provide an appropriate level of knowledge regarding the importance, organisation and management of international logistics and its theoretical, technical and operational principles, which can be applied in practice in the transport sector in general, and specifically in the area of maritime transport and ports.
- To present the role, development, and dynamics of multi-modal transport in the context of globalisation, focussing especially on the specifities of road, rail, maritime, and inland waterway transport that uses logistics platforms;
- To understand the role played by maritime transport and ports in the economy and the conditions required in terms of contracting, operations and port services, including those governing the regular transport of merchandise, management models, and port and terminals planning.
