Members of ISEG?s faculty nominated for the Coordination Commission which is to create the proposal for the National Strategy to Combat Poverty

The worsening economic situation caused by COVID-19 has led to the need to accelerate the creation of the National Strategy to Combat Poverty, as contemplated in the manifesto of the XII Constitutional Government.

To this end, the Government has created a Coordination Commission, which is to include the members of faculty Professors Amélia Bastos and Carlos Farinha Rodrigues.

The participation of members of ISEG in this commission reflects the public recognition of the important role that the research and civic activity of our School’s faculty plays in the areas of public policies in the fight against inequality and poverty.
