Prerequisite Course Unit Requirements

    PREREQUISITE COURSE UNIT REQUIREMENTS

     (To enter into effect from academic year 2018/2019)

     

    Undergraduate degree in Economics (in both Portuguese and English

     

      

    Undergraduate degree in Management (in both Portuguese and English)

     

     

    Undergraduate degree in Mathematics Applied to Economics and Management

     

     

      Undergraduate degree in Finance (in Portuguese)

     

     

      Undergraduate degree in Finance (in English)

     

     

    At the start of each academic year, only students who have obtained a minimum of 30 ECTS credits in first year course units may enrol in second and third year course units. Promotion of students from the first to the second year at the start of the second semester is not permitted.  

    Where prerequisite requirements exist, preceding course units and those for which they are prerequisite will be run in both academic semesters if possible. Each year, the Scientific Board will decide which courses will be run in consecutive semesters.

     

    A student may only enrol in course units totalling a maximum of 72 ECTS credits per academic year.

     

    Students who need a maximum of 24 ECTS credits to complete their undergraduate degree may enrol in the relevant course units, regardless of having met the prerequisite requirements.

     

    Students who need a maximum of 24 ECTS credits to complete their undergraduate degree may enrol in the special assessment period in September for the relevant course units, regardless of having met the prerequisite requirements, and without necessarily being enrolled in those course units for that academic year.
