Extraordinary assessment period

Extraordinary Written Exams
1. In each semester, any student who is not enrolled for a course unit will be able to sit the respective written exam during the re-sit period, in the following cases:
a) The course unknit is not taught during consecutive semesters, but has classes during the current semester;
b) The course unit originates from another one.
2. To be able to sit the aforementioned exam, students have to carry the respective enrolment.
3. The aforementioned enrolment counts towards the total of the maximum number of ECTS credits for enrolled course units in any one Academic Year.
4. Enrolment in an extraordinary written exam, in accordance with subparagraph c) of No. 5 of Article 2, does not count towards the total of the maximum number of ECTS credits for enrolled course units in any one Academic Year. All in all, the only students who can enrol for this type of exam are those were enrolled for the respective course unit during the previous semester.
5. The grading of any extraordinary written exam is exclusively based on the respective individual written exam (and possibly an oral exam), which does not depend on the results of the continuous evaluation throughout the semester of the student in the course unit.
