The library promotes the collection, processing, and dissemination of bibliographic information, support for pedagogical and scientific actions, and the promotion of exchanges with similar national, foreign and international entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ISEG's library provides different types of services, which, for the purpose of providing external services, are divided into three (3) groups:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Library reader cards will be issued to ERASMUS students and external users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The reader's card can be obtained on the 2nd floor of the Library, requiring:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Interlibrary Loan (EIB) consists of the supply of works, which do not exist in the library fund, from other institutions, at the request of readers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The requisition and loan and return of works under the EIB is carried out on the 1st floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\nGroup 1<\/th><\/tr><\/thead> \u2013 Information Search<\/td><\/tr> \u2013 Provision of bibliographical references<\/td><\/tr> \u2013 Statistical information<\/td><\/tr> \u2013 Journal articles<\/td><\/tr> The prices for these services are fixed annually by the Presidency of ISEG upon proposal by the Library.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n Group 2<\/th><\/tr><\/thead> \u2013 Loan of monographs <\/td><\/tr> \u2013 Thematic bibliographies <\/td><\/tr> These services can only be provided upon payment of a subscription to the library, valid for one year and renewable at the end of that period. The respective amount is fixed annually. Each external user cannot be loaned more than two (2) works simultaneously, and the loan term cannot exceed eight (8) days.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n Group 3<\/th><\/tr><\/thead> \u2013 Thematic bibliographies <\/td><\/tr> \u2013 Technical assistance to other institutions <\/td><\/tr> \u2013 Training in the areas of librarianship and information management <\/td><\/tr> The services provided in this group are subject to agreements and contracts.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
