O - Lisbon School of Economics & Management from University of Lisbon won is 1st place in Portugal at SCImago Institutions Rankings 2025 in the areas of Economy (Economics, Econometrics and Finance) for Management (Business Management and Accounting).
In the scientific area of Economics (Economics, Econometrics and Finance), ISEG has made a remarkable rise, from 135th place in 2024 to 85th in 2025. The University of Porto comes next, in 238th place.
Also in the area of Management (Business Management and Accounting), ISEG strengthened its position in the ranking, rising from 99th place in 2024 to 94th in 2025. With this performance, it remains ahead of ISCTE and the University of Porto, both ranked below 160th.
