On October 8th, the President of ISEG and the Chairman of ISEG's Economics Department organized a dinner in
tribute to Professors Jorge Santos and Joaquim Ramos Silvawhose retirement and retirement, respectively, took place in 2018. Both were Chairs of the Department of Economics during a continuous period from 2010 to 2018, during which our School experienced important changes and improvements. Both with more than four decades of teaching, research and academic management activities at ISEG, they have accompanied the evolution of the school and contributed to its profound renewal.
