The Master in International Economics and European Studies is essentially intended to complete the first cycle training.
It is aimed at anyone interested in acquiring specialized and professional skills in the fields of international economics and the European economy and institutions, in particular those interested in a career in EU and international institutions, in diplomatic services, in international business or in specialized journalism, staff from companies or other public and private institutions, to secondary or higher education teachers.
All those who aspire to develop scientific research and teaching activities, working in companies with growing needs for staff with advanced and specific training in the international area, as well as in public administration, have a place in this master's degree.

The ranking, which applies only to students who fulfill the prerequisites, is based on the application grade calculated on the basis of the final grade of the 1st cycle, the scientific area, the institution that awarded the degree and any additional training mentioned in the documentation attached to the file.
Provisional tuition fees for 2024/25, pending confirmation by the University of Lisbon's statutory bodies.

At the student's request, a specific payment of the fee can be agreed.
If you are not an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen, then you will need a Student Visa.
Once you have decided to join the master's program and paid the 1st tuition fee instalment to secure your place, you can issue the acceptance letter on the FENIX Portal. This document will be needed later to apply for a Student Visa.
The student visa must be requested at the nearest Embassy or at a Portuguese consular post in the country of origin.
