Oficina Global is organizing a virtual conversation on change in times of Covid-19 with very special guests on March 4 at 6pm GMT (6pm in Lisbon / 3pm in Brasilia). The event will also mark the launch of the Portuguese version of the book Where Change Begins (How Change Happens in the original version), by Duncan Green - who will be present.
Duncan Green is Professor of International Development at London School of Economics and Senior Strategic Advisor at Oxfam GB. We will also be joined by Katia Maia, Director of Oxfam Brazil, Iara Pietricovsky, President of the Forus Internationalco-Director ofAbong and co-director of INESCand Professor Clara Raposo, President of the ISEG. The moderator will be Professor Luís Mah, professor of the Master's Degree in Development and International Cooperation at the University of Lisbon. ISEG and researcher at CEsA - Centre for African and Development Studies.
The Global Workshop is an initiative of Master's in International Development and Cooperation of ISEG (Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão da Universidade de Lisboa) and the CESA (ISEG's Center for Studies on Africa and Development), which aims to strengthen the role of the University as a meeting point and resource for all these actors who are working on and for change in global development.
