The Bank of Portugal has launched the StatFlix, an e-learning course aimed at all university students on the main statistics of the Portuguese economy and the euro area.
Inspired by streaming platforms, this original series from the Bank of Portugal consists of 6 seasons: national accounts, financial sector, public administrations, private individuals, companies and the rest of the world. In each season, students will be able to challenge themselves with quizzes and delve deeper into the main concepts and metrics through videos, flipbooks and podcasts.
The empirical knowledge of the Portuguese economy gained by attending this online course is a great asset, not only for understanding the subjects taught in the various course units of ISEG's degrees (Bachelor's, Master's and PhD’s), but also for carrying out applied work, whether it be within the scope of a given course unit or a Master's or PhD thesis. ISEG students are strongly recommended to participate in this high-quality course offered by the Bank of Portugal on order to take full advantage of these benefits.

Participate in the Visibility in Research" workshopto be held on July 12, from 4pm to 5pm, at ISEG's Novo Banco Amphitheater.
The workshop is divided into two parts. The first part is on writing biographical paragraphs and the second part is on the curating of profiles in both Web of Science and Scopus.
