For the student who wants a greater connection to the application of public policies in projects associated with concrete institutions, the master&#039;s degree will be oriented towards the elaboration of a project for an institution (public or non-profit) which will result in a project work. IV&nbsp;<\/strong><br>\u2014 Economics and Information Technologies in Public Management<br>\u2014 Sustainable Development: Natural Resources and City Policies<br>- Evaluation and Implementation of Public Policies<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>See the description of each Curricular Unit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fenix.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/degrees\/epp\/course-web-pages\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/Plano-de-Estudos-A3ES_MEPP.pdf\">See <strong>here <\/strong>the new study plan for the 2027\/2028 academic year, submitted for approval by A3ES.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-tabs-child uagb-tabs__body-container uagb-inner-tab-2\" aria-labelledby=\"uagb-tabs__tab2\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admissions and Fees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">Applications for all master's degrees at ISEG are made online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Access Requirements<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates for&nbsp;<strong>Master in Economics and Public Policy<\/strong>&nbsp;must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Hold an academic degree equivalent to the 1st cycle of higher education, in national or foreign institutions, preferably in the field of Economics, or in other relevant areas (Finance, Management, Public Administration, Mathematics Applied to Economics and Management, Environmental Engineering). Candidates with other degrees will be considered on a case-by-case basis, based on a curriculum evaluation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>In accordance with Article 17 d) of Decree-Law no. 74\/2006 of March 24, as amended and republished by Decree-Law no. 65\/2018 of August 16, other applications deemed appropriate by the selection panel, in particular when candidates hold technical positions in public policy areas, will be assessed on the basis of curriculum analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Students who have not completed the cycle of studies leading to a bachelor's degree may apply conditionally, provided they meet the conditions for obtaining the degree by the end of September (of the academic year of application).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Screening and Selection Criteria<\/strong>:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The criteria for selecting candidates and their weighting are set out in the table below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Criteria<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Scale<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Weighting<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Final average of 1st cycle or equivalent<\/td><td>0-20<\/td><td>25%<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>School, Nature of Degree and Professional Experience (if applicable)<\/td><td>0-20<\/td><td>60%<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Classification in UC in microeconomics, quantitative methods or others related to the area of Public Policy<\/td><td>0-20<\/td><td>15%<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The minimum overall assessment value for acceptance of a candidate - <strong>13 values;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The minimum overall assessment value for immediate acceptance of a candidate in advance of selection - <strong>14 values.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Definition of application requirements and profiles for which additional academic preparation will be required (in those courses that deem it necessary)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>National or foreign higher education degree equivalent to the 1st cycle in the areas of Economics, or other degrees considered relevant (Finance, Management, Public Administration, Mathematics Applied to Economics and Management, Environmental Engineering).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In accordance with Article 17(d) of Decree-Law no. 74\/2006 of March 24, other applications will also be assessed, which may be considered appropriate by the jury, in particular when the candidates perform technical functions in areas of public policy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The number of successful candidates who have completed postgraduate training at other institutions (INA, etc.) and who apply under protocols established with the MEPP, thus benefiting from equivalences in some curricular units, is a maximum of seven.
