One of these perspectives is the need for the research staff to remain at the forefront of economic knowledge, with the resulting implications in terms of incentives and the desired profile for these employees. Another aspect is the availability of information to develop the empirical part of the research. Finally, contact with collaborators with a less academic profile is also an important facet of research activity in these institutions.
