With the support of ISEG, FNGIS is organizing the \"Transnational Seminar: Europe 2020 - more participation, better governance\", which integrates a set of activities and follows on from workshops held previously and which will now be followed up with an exhibition, debate and participatory aspect. This initiative aims to create opportunities for participation around the capacity and possible contributions of organizations and citizens to influence an overarching strategy such as Europe 2020.\n

In 2010 the EU launched the Europe 2020 Strategy to promote smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, basing it on 5 objectives. At a time when the revision of the Strategy is its greatest certainty, it is important to bring it to the public in more plural and effective ways than those that have been developed. \"Europe 2020 - more participation, better governance\" is a project that aims to respond to this challenge. Led by EAPN Portugal in close coordination with the Non-Governmental Forum for Social Inclusion (FNGIS) and its member organizations, this project arises from a pressing need to open the box of Europe 2020 and the European Semester and bring its contents to the knowledge and debate with civil society.<\/p>\n
