He gave his first recital at the age of twelve and received a First Prize in 1964, after having participated in several competitions for young musicians, thus beginning his solo musical career in many cities of the Soviet Union. He also made recordings for radio and television and performed throughout Russia as a soloist, with symphony orchestras and chamber groups. After finishing his violin course at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, he brilliantly passed the entrance exams to the Komitas Higher Conservatory in Yerevan. He was then invited to join the Armenian State Chamber Orchestra as a Second Concertino. As a member of this Orchestra, he played throughout the Soviet Union and in several foreign countries. In 1977, Gareguin Aroutiounian was a laureate at the V Competition of Performing Musicians of Transcaucasia and also received a Special Prize for the best interpretation of Khatchaturian's Violin Concerto. In 1976 he finished his violin course at the Komitas Higher Conservatory, specializing as a Musician-Interpreter and Chamber Music Teacher. He then trained at the Moscow Conservatory in the class of the famous Professor Belenky. After returning from Moscow, he prepared his doctorate at the Yerevan Conservatory, working as an assistant to Professor Villi Mokastsian. In 1981 he was one of the founding members of the Yerevan String Quartet, and this chamber ensemble quickly occupied a prominent place in the Soviet Union and abroad. In 1983, the Quartet participated in the prestigious Borodine Competition and was awarded the 2nd Prize. As a member of this Quartet, he performed in the most important concert halls of the Soviet Union, Europe, the United States, and Canada. He recorded for radio and television and also for the Melodya label. Parallel to his main activities, he taught at the Higher Komitas Conservatory in Yerevan. His students received important prizes in the competitions in which they performed. In 1989, Gareguin Aroutiounian was invited to join the Gulbenkian Orchestra, taking the position of Assistant Concertmaster and participating, as soloist, in the musical activities of this formation. In Portugal, he participated in the International Festivals of Estoril, Algarve, Madeira and Leiria, among others. She began her violin studies at the Special School of Music where, in 1997, she won first prize in the Armenian National Violin Competition. After finishing school in 1998, Lilit entered the State Higher Conservatory where she studied until 2003, later obtaining a doctoral degree studying with professors such as Villy Mokazian, Edward Dayan, Henrik Smbatyan. Lilit has attended master-classes, participated in several festivals such as: Return festival (Armenia) Talalyan Brothers festival (Armenia) Schleswig Holstein Musik festivall (Germany) Mahak festival (Iran) among many. In chamber music she has studied with teachers such as: Aram Talalyan (LCA, Armenia-Camera and Baroque Music), Alla Berberyan (LCA, Armenia), Samvel Barsegian (Portugal), Gareguin Aroutunian (Portugal) Daishin Kashimoto (Germany) Boris Browtsin (UK) Jakov Jakoulov (USA), Mikhail Bronner (RF), Mikhail Kokzhaev (LCA). Between 1998-2000 Lilit was Assistant Concertmaster of the National Symphony Youth Orchestra. Between 2000-2003, Lilit also devoted himself to the Baroque style by joining the Yerevan Baroque Orchestra. After her experience with Baroque music, in 2005 she joins the National State Chamber Orchestra as a leader. At the same time Lilit dedicates herself to various chamber music projects, from contemporary, orchestral music, folk music to even some jazz projects. Since 2012 Lilit lives in Portugal, where she worked with Professor Gareguin Aroutiounian and Samvel Barsegian.<\/h6>\n<h6>&nbsp;<\/h6>\n<h2>\n<strong>Jean Aroutiounian \n<span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong>| Viola<\/h2>\n<h6>He was born in Yerevan, capital of Armenia. He began his violin studies at the age of 5 with his father, professor Gareguin Aroutiounian, giving his first recital at the age of 7. At the age of 8 he won 1st prize in the Young Talents of Armenia Competition, and at the age of 9 he won 1st prize in the Young Performers Competition, studying in the class of the renowned Prof. Villi Mokatsian, at the Tchaikovsky Professional School.<\/h6>\n<h6>In 1990 he comes to live in Portugal. He finished the National Conservatory of Music in Lisbon where he was principal concertmaster of the orchestra. In 2005 he finishes his Violin Degree at Escola Superior de M\u00fasica de Lisboa in the class of Professor Alexandra Mendes. Throughout his career as a student, he studied regularly with Profs: Zakhar Bron, at the Escola Superior Reina Sof\u00eda in Madrid. Boris Belkin, at the Maastricht Conservatory. Maxim Vengerov, at the Music School Lubeck. Rudolf Barshai, viola. Pinchas Zukerman, viola, Itamar Golan, chamber music. Performs several recitals and concerts in Portugal, countries of the former Soviet Union, USA. He participates in Festivals as a soloist and in Chamber Music, with a vast repertoire such as concertos by Tcha\u00efkovsky, Sibelius, Beethoven, Max Bruch, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Paganini, Sonatas for Violin and Piano, various pieces, in halls like Tonhalle, Jordan Hall, Lisbon Coliseum, Gulbenkian Grand Auditorium, CCB, S\u00e3o Luiz, Aula Magna, Culturgest, Porto Coliseum, Casa da M\u00fasica, Pal\u00e1cio Foz among others. He frequently collaborates in concerts, projects and recordings with Portuguese musicians such as: Bernardo Sassetti, M\u00e1rio Laginha, Mariza, Carlos do Carmo, Caman\u00e9, Tito Paris among others. He was an effective musician of the Portuguese Chamber Orchestra, where he played the role of concertmaster. He has worked with conductors like Gustavo Dudamel, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Lawrence Foster, Simone Young, Jean-Claude Casadesus, Michael Zilm, Pinchas Zukerman, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Rudolf Barshai, John Axelrod, Alexander Frey, Christian Badea, Benjamin Zander, among others. Since 2011 he has been equally dedicated to Viola de Arco performing recitals and also playing as a soloist. He is soloist (viola de arco) of the Orquestra de C\u00e2mara Cascais Oeiras and often collaborates with the Gulbenkian Orchestra, Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa. Paris Youth Orchestra, among others. He is a member, as a viola player, of the MuzArt String Quartet and the Ensemble Apollo Arte. He was assistant (from 1998 until 2014) to Prof. Gareguin Aroutiounian, regularly having the opportunity to work with higher level students, following his methodology, teaching philosophy and instrumental didactics. He is one of the founding teachers of the Generation Orchestra Project, which has performed in various halls, including Teatro S\u00e3o Luiz, Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval, Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Calouste Gulbenkian, Aula Magna, Coliseu dos Recreios, among others. He is violin teacher and coordinator at the Academia de Amadores de M\u00fasica with award-winning students in several national competitions. He frequently conducts master classes, workshops, training sessions and orchestra internships. He is a jury member of the Tom\u00e1s Borba Violin Competition<\/h6>\n<h6>&nbsp;<\/h6>\n<h2>\n<strong>Varoujan Bartikian<\/strong>&nbsp;| \n<span>&nbsp;V<\/span>ioloncello<\/h2>\n<h6>He was born in Armenia and began his studies at the Tchaikovsky Specialized School of Music under Alexander Tchauchian. From 1978 to 1983 he attended the Komitas Higher Conservatory of Music in Yerevan. In 1977 he won the Transcaucasian Cello Competition in Tbilisi, and in 1981 he participated in the Competition of Soviet Republics in the same city, being awarded the 3rd Prize and a special prize for the performance of the 24 Preludes by the Georgian composer Sulkan Tsintsadze. After graduating in 1983, he continued his studies, earning a Master's degree in Cello and Music Sciences, in the areas of Theory of Interpretation and Teaching Methodology. In 1988, he began teaching cello at the Komitas Conservatory, a position he held until he moved to Portugal in 1989, when he joined the Gulbenkian Orchestra, with which he has also performed as a soloist. He has played with the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by John Nelson, and recorded for Antena 2 - RTP. In 1991 he formed the Bartikian Trio with pianist Michel Gal and clarinetist Esther Gerogie. Since 2001, he is cellist of the Capela Quartet. He has recorded several works by Ant\u00f3nio Victorino d&#039;Almeida for the Num\u00e9rica label. He is currently 1st Cello Soloist of the Gulbenkian Orchestra and teaches cello and chamber music at the Instituto<\/h6>\n<h6>Piaget.<\/h6>\n<h6>\n<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong> \n<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong> \n<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h6>\n<h2>\n<strong>Abel Carvalho \n<span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong>| Double Bass<\/h2>\n<h6>Professor at the Santa Cec\u00edlia Music Academy and Double Bassist with the Orchestra<\/h6>\n<h6>Chamber Orchestra of Cascais and Oeiras. He trained with Fernando Flores and Vladimir Kouznetsov in Lisbon and with Ludwig Streicher in Vienna. He has taught double bass at the Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Musical dos Amigos das Crian\u00e7as and at the University of \u00c9vora and has worked in almost all the main Portuguese orchestras. He is part of the Concordis quintet and the double bass ensemble Contr&#039;Orquestra.<\/h6>\n<h6>\n  <strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>\n<\/h6>\n<h2>\n<strong>Daniela Ignazzitto<\/strong> | Piano<\/h2>\n<h6>Born in Palermo, Italy, she began her musical studies at the \"V. Bellini\" Conservatory, where she graduated cum laude in piano and also studied composition. After finishing the piano course, he started his musical improvement by attending annual courses (1997\/98 in Osimo, Ancona and 2001\/02 in Rome) and master classes organized by the Musical Association A.GI.MUS. of Foligno and at the Music Conservatory \"B. Marcello\" of Venice with the pianist Lya De Barberiis. In September 1999 she was invited as piano teacher and accompanist to the Conservat\u00f3rio Regional de Ponta Delgada, Azores, where she taught for two years. Currently she is a piano teacher at the Music School of the National Conservatory and at the Academia Amadores de M\u00fasica de Lisboa. In Portugal she continues her musical improvement by attending the piano course at Escola Superior de M\u00fasica de Lisboa, with Professor Jorge Moyano in piano and with Professor Olga Prats in chamber music, concluding her degree with 19 points. Throughout his training, he has attended several master classes oriented by pianists such as Aldo Ciccolini, Sequeira Costa, Dimitri Baskirov, Avidis Kouyoumdjian. His artistic activity includes solo and chamber music recitals for some important musical institutions such as Teatro Massimo e Amici della Musica of Palermo, Associazione Musicale Dino Ciani of Milan, Societ\u00e1 dei Concerti of Rome, Associazione Musicale Etnea of Catania, DRAC of S\u00e3o Miguel, Azores, Centro Cultural de Bel\u00e9m of Lisbon, Festival of Convento dos Capuchos of Almada, Theatre of Vila Real, Ra\u00edzes Ib\u00e9ricas of Oeiras, Chamber Orchestra of Cascais and Oeiras. Among the musicians with whom he has collaborated in Chamber Music are Lya De Barberiis, Giovanni Sollima, Gabriela Canavilhas, Marcos L\u00e1zaro, Irene Lima, Viviana Caiolo, Nuno Silva, Catherine Strynckx, Luis Pacheco Cunha, Jo\u00e3o Paulo Santos. Since 2001 she has performed several solo concerts and live chamber music for RTP (Portuguese Radio Television). In 2005 she performs solo with the Symphonic Orchestra of the Escola Superior de M\u00fasica de Lisboa under the direction of M\u00ba Vasco Azevedo, performing J.
