After the more pessimistic analyses of the 1970s, mobility has been seen in terms of its benefits for science and the economy in general.<\/p>\n<p>It is today one of the fundamental pillars of the development of the European Research Area, and yet there are several issues to be explored.\n<br \/>Which researchers are the most mobile? Who are they? By\n<br \/>how long and how do they do it?
