The session will take place online at 17h30 GMT (12h30 EST\/ 18h30 CET).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will be attended by <strong>Joana Pais<\/strong> as the moderator (Vice-Dean of ISEG, Universidade de Lisboa), <strong>Nuno Crato<\/strong> (Research Professor at CEMAPRE\/ISEG, Universidade de Lisboa), and <strong>Harry Anthony Patrinos<\/strong> (Head of the Department of Education Reform, University of Arkansas), among other co-authors of the book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The book analyses the statistical results of the PIRLS 2021 and PISA 2022 international assessments, which measured students' performance in reading, mathematics, and science in 12 countries, including Chile, Ecuador, Britain, Estonia, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on recently-released statistics, the book examines the impact of the Pandemic on student learning, highlighting significant variations between countries in terms of learning losses and the effectiveness of education policies. In addition, it offers an overview of the approaches that have proved to be the most effective in overcoming educational challenges, suggesting data-based strategies to guide future advances in education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This event will be an opportunity to reflect on the state and challenges of education<s>!<\/s><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-iseg-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1a17b74b6b8e05c1cd7571be686ec836\"><strong>Registration is now open.
