{"id":54631,"date":"2025-01-07T14:54:27","date_gmt":"2025-01-07T14:54:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/?post_type=event&#038;p=54631"},"modified":"2025-01-07T14:54:27","modified_gmt":"2025-01-07T14:54:27","slug":"publicity-session-for-fct-exploratory-project-competitions","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/en\/event\/publicity-session-for-fct-exploratory-project-competitions\/","title":{"rendered":"Explanatory session | FCT - Contest for Exploratory Research Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On\u00a0<strong>15 January,<\/strong> at <strong>15.00<\/strong>, in the<strong> Auditorium 2<\/strong> (Quelhas), there will be an <strong>Explanatory Session<\/strong> on the <strong>Contest for Exploratory Research Projects in All Scientific Fields, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FCT recently published a Notice with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fct.pt\/concursos\/concurso-para-projetos-de-investigacao-de-carater-exploratorio-em-todos-os-dominios-cientificos-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Call for Exploratory Research Projects, 2024<\/a>, with<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-iseg-red-color\"> deadline of 25 February, 2025<\/mark>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of this contest is to provide funding for exploratory projects (PEX) in all scientific areas, with a particular focus on innovative proposals. The financing is destined for researchers who are starting out on their careers, or original ideas and concepts that are highly novel and show the potential to disrupt previous research carried out by more experienced researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The maximum funding available is \u20ac60,000, with a duration of 18 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications may be made on the MyFCT
