He made his debut at the Teatro Nacional de S\u00e3o Carlos in S\u00e9rgio Azevedo's opera \"O Rouxinol\", in the roles of \"Rouxinol\" and \"Rouxinol mec\u00e2nico\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n She recently premiered the opera \"Madrugada: raz\u00f5es de um movimento\", co-produced by MPMP and the Algarve Orchestra. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Her operatic roles include the Mozartian roles \"K\u00f6nigin der Nacht\", \"Susanna\" and \"Zerlina\". She also played \"Mrs. T.\" in \"Manifesto Nada\" by A. Sousa Dias, \"Cathleen\" in \"Riders to the Sea\" by V. Williams, \"Belinda\" in \"Dido and Aeneas\" by H. Purcell, \"Cephisa\" in \"Orpheus\" by G. P. Telemann. Telemann, the \"Civene\" in \"Le Cinesi\" by C. W. Gluck, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She took part in the modern premiere of \"La Ninfa del Tago\" by A. Scarlatti, in the role of \"Tirsi\", with the OML under the direction of Enrico Onofri, took part as well in the \"4th Symphony\" by G. Mahler, under the direction of Miguel Romea, and in \"Carmina Burana\" by C. Orff, with the \"Orquestra Filarm\u00f3nica das Beiras\", under the direction of Jan Wierzba. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In the context of oratorio, she performed \u2018The Messiah\u2019 by G. F. H\u00e4ndel, \u2018Messe in h-Moll\u2019 and \u2018Schweigt stille, plaudert nicht\u2019 by J. S. Bach, \u2018Lauda per la Navit\u00e0 del Signore\u2019 by O. Respighi as \u2018Angel\u2019, \u2018Wie der Hirsch Schreit, der 42. Psalm\u2019 by F. Mendelssohn, \u2018Stabatango\u2019 by M. Palmeri as \u2018Angel\u2019. Pergolesi, among others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n She has attended training courses with Bernarda Fink, Nathalie Dessay, Mariella Devia, Laurent Naouri, Jos\u00e9 van Dam, Linda Watson, Jill Feldman, Yvonne Minton, Alfredo Abbatti, Wim Henderickx and Alberto Zedda.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n Rita Coelho, who was born in Lisbon, began her singing career at the National Conservatoire, in the class of Professor Manuela de S\u00e1. She later completed a degree in singing with Professor Isabel Alcobia, at the University of Aveiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Throughout her career, she has worked with L\u00facia Lemos, Orlanda Velez Isidro, David Santos, Jill Feldman, Ulrike Sonntag, Jo\u00e3o Paulo Santos, Helen Lawson, Brian MacKay, Pierre Mak and Anna Samuil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Within the operatic repertoire, he has already performed \"Second Witch\" in \"Dido and Aeneas\" by H. Purcell, \"Nicklausse\" in \"The Tales of Hoffmann\" by J. Offenbach, \"Kate Pinkerton\" in \"Madama Butterfly\" and <\/em>\"La maestra delle novizie\" in \"Suor Angelica\" by G. Puccini, \"Mrs. Nolan\" in \"The Medium\" by G-C Menotti and \"Mercedes\" in \"Carmen\" by G. Bizet.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Since 2021, she has been a member of the Choir of the S\u00e3o Carlos National Theatre, in the half-soprano section.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n Daniel Godinho has performed as a pianist in Spain, France, Holland and the United Kingdom, as well as Portugal - including important events such as the Mafra International Music Festival, the Coimbra Arts Festival, the CisterM\u00fasica Festival in Alcoba\u00e7a, the Encontros Sonoros Atl\u00e2nticos Festival and numerous concerts for Antena 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2014, he recorded his first CD with soprano In\u00eas Sim\u00f5es - dedicated to Iberian song repertoire - and at the end of 2024, they released a second album with Portuguese music from the 21st century. <\/p>\n\n\n\n He was an accompanying pianist at the Piaget Institute and the Lisbon School of Music and is currently a teacher at the National Conservatory's School of Music. He has accompanied in various national competitions, such as the 'Pr\u00e9mio Jovens M\u00fasicos', the 'Pr\u00e9mio de Interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o do Estoril' and the 'Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Rot\u00e1ria Portuguesa Lyric Singing Competition'. <\/p>\n\n\n\n His passion for vocal and choral music has led him to collaborate with various choirs, including the Gulbenkian Choir, and to develop ongoing work with soprano In\u00eas Sim\u00f5es - exploring a wide-ranging repertoire of songs, including music from the 20th and 21st centuries. He has also worked with many other young lyric singers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n He studied at 'Escola Superior de M\u00fasica de Lisboa' and 'Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra', where he was a pupil of Alexei Eremine.
