{"id":60905,"date":"2025-07-02T10:38:03","date_gmt":"2025-07-02T10:38:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/?post_type=event&#038;p=60905"},"modified":"2025-10-07T14:58:33","modified_gmt":"2025-10-07T14:58:33","slug":"alumni-dinner-solidarity-gala-2025","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/en\/event\/alumni-dinner-solidarity-gala-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Alumni Dinner &amp; Solidarity Gala 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In 2025, the <strong>Alumni Econ\u00f3micas<\/strong> <strong>-- the ISEG Alumni Association --<\/strong> is once again organising the <strong>Alumni Day Solidarity Gala Dinner<\/strong> in conjunction with <strong>Gala Solid\u00e1ria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of this dinner is to <strong>raise funds for the Alumni Econ\u00f3micas Solidarity Programme,<\/strong> securing its continuity. Alumni Econ\u00f3micas seeks to ensure that all students have the right to the opportunity to attend higher education and that no talent is hindered by clearly-proven financial disadvantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the 2024\/25 academic year, Alumni <strong>supported 21 students<\/strong> of ISEG with proven financial difficulties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aware of its social responsibility and the difficult period in which displaced students have to live, particularly in respect to the cost of accommodation in the Lisbon region, as well as other expenses associated with the cost of living, Alumni Econ\u00f3micas intends to continue supporting more ISEG students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dinner will take place on <strong>23 October, at 19.45, at ISEG<\/strong>, in the marquee put up on the Patio das Francesinhas, where the Career Awards and the Former Student of the Year Awards will also be presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event <strong>P<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/en\/2025\/07\/career-and-alumni-awards-of-the-year-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Career &amp; Alumni of the Year Awards<\/a><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Former Student Award for Economic, Political and Social Careers<\/strong><\/td><td>Mario Centeno<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2); color: initial;\"><strong>Management Career Alumni Award<\/strong><\/span><\/td><td><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2); color: initial;\">Pedro Castro e Almeida<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><span style=\"color: initial;\"><strong>Alumni Award for Academic Career and Research<\/strong><\/span><\/td><td><span style=\"color: initial;\">Nuno Valerio<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><span style=\"color: initial;\"><strong>Alumnus of the Year Award - Entrepreneur of the Year 2025<\/strong><\/span><\/td><td><span style=\"color: initial;\">Paulo Veiga<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Alumnus of the Year Award - Manager of the Year 2025<\/strong><\/td><td>Pedro Leit\u00e3o<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will be a day of celebration shared by alumni, faculty, students, members of staff, and friends of ISEG, and we hope to be able to count on your attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please <strong>register by October 11th, <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/asossM3kywSEE8vp6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"In 2025, Alumni Econ\u00f3micas - Associa\u00e7\u00e3o dos Antigos Alunos do ISEG is once again organizing the Alumni Day Dinner in conjunction with the Solidarity Gala.
