The course includes energy management exercises (chi-kung) to improve your health and wellbeing, giving you tools for your daily life, with moments of interaction to clarify questions and doubts. The workshop is led by a Certified Teacher in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction by the University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness Professional Training Institute and is an accredited Instructor in Chi-Kung by the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Lisbon).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Free admission, but places are limited. To take part in the workshop, please register by email to <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:ritasilvacosta@hotmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ritasilvacosta@hotmail.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants should preferably bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water. Everyone should bring a few items so that we can share a snack and socialize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Programme:<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Start with Mindfulness Meditation, calming the mind and body;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cThe Five Animals\u201d Chi Kung;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zhang Zhuang (tree pose) -- both systems are based on the theory of the five elements, thereby benefiting the energetic flow (chi) of the five organs and are coupled;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pause;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>18 Taiji Chi Kung movements;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Mindfulness: Body Scan - another mindfulness and relaxation practice, as well as an activity for connecting with oneself and gaining self-knowledge.
