ISEG inaugurated the Gender, Labour, and Power Observatory<\/strong>, today, on the 14th November. The objective of the Observatory is to monitor and disseminate essential data on gender inequalities in the labour market<\/strong> , as well as in economic decision-making processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Observatory's first two barometers were presented for the first time at this launch event:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The Women vs. Men Labour Force Participation Rate Barometer<\/a>;<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The Gender Pay Gap Barometer.<\/strong><\/a> <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    These studies reveal how women and men experience significant differences in various areas, ranging from employment rates through to the types of occupation affected by the wage gap, drawing attention to the inequalities that still persist in our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The objective of this initiative is to encourage an informed debate and support the development of policies that bring about full and equal opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
