{"id":64653,"date":"2025-10-16T14:56:21","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T14:56:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/?p=64653"},"modified":"2025-10-16T16:49:53","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T16:49:53","slug":"international-open-access-week-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iseg.ulisboa.pt\/en\/2025\/10\/international-open-access-week-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"International Open Access Week 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From <strong>20-26 October<\/strong>, there has been <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.openaccessweek.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Open Access Week<\/a><\/strong>, a global initiative promoted by SPARC (Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition), whose theme this year is: <em>\"Who Owns Our Knowledge?\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Open Access is one of the fundamental pillars of open science, guaranteeing that anyone \u2014 student, teacher, researcher or the general public \u2014 can access and share scientific knowledge freely, without barriers.
