Call for Papers | Colloquium on Covid-19, the Virus of Social Inequality

The Colloquium on “Covid-19, the Virus of Social Inequality” will take place on the 8th, 9th, and the 10th of November, 2022.

This colloquium is organised by ISEG’s SOCIUS/CSG research centre and will be entirely held online.

The call for papers for the thematic workshops of the colloquium is now open.

Thematic Workshops:
Workshop 1 – Areas of concern and proposals for less unequal worlds
Workshop 2 – Unequal access to “invisible or online” education for those who already suffered from unequal access to “visible or in-person” education
Workshop 3 – The Pandemic and the growing inequalities in the labour market
Workshop 4 – The technological inequality between SMEs and large firms
Workshop 5 – The Pandemic, ICTs, and Social Inequality
Workshop 6 – Well-being at Work, Organisational Citizenship Behaviour, and Emotional Intelligence in the context of the COVID 19 Pandemic
Workshop 7 – Marginalised regions and the consequences of the Pandemic
Workshop 8 – Gender inequality in the face of Covid-19: What it looks like? What are the perspectives?
Workshop 9 –The impact of the Pandemic on societal behaviour with regards consumption and resource management from the perspective of the circular economy/ sustainable development Workshop 10 – IA agents, social interactions, and the Pandemic 

Rules for submitting Abstracts:
– Abstracts should be submitted in Portuguese (or alternatively in English or French);
– Proposals should include: the title, the abstract (maximum of 250 words), and five keywords;
– Deadline for the submission of abstracts: 30th September, 2022
