Course on the Chinese language and the culture and business environment for doing business in China
CEGE – the ISEG Centre for Management studies will be organising a course on the
Chinese language and the culture and business environment for doing business in China. This course is designed for
businessmen and managers who are either carrying out business in China. It will be divided into 2 modules, with a total duration of 77 hours.
The Chinese reality is multifaceted and complex and there are no standard solutions for success for foreign companies in China. However, all people who work with China are unanimous that it is worth investing in getting to know this reality if one wants to, on one hand, understand what is happening in the world economy, and on the other hand, work with the Chinese world, whatever is one's area of business.
Learning Chinese and getting to know the culture is an important step in knowing how to relate and maintain a dynamic business, and it allows us to understand what Chinese partners want from foreign companies, what opportunities they can offer, what threats we face and how to minimise or neutralise them by adopting an appropriate strategy and the correct legal protection.
Enrolment up until the 15
th of September, 2015.
