A seminar on “Options: A Price and Advantages Tree” will be held on the 17th of March. The Diagonal Seminar is a seminar cycle organised by students of the degree in Applied Mathematics for Economics and Management (MAEG), with the support of the faculty of ISEG’s Department of Mathematics.
The financial world appears to be full of obscure and incomprehensible terms. By means of the presentation of a simple approach to the binomial model of financial options pricing, an attempt will be made to demystify some of the hypotheses and theoretical bases which can be used to answer the question: “What is the fair option price after all?
