Information Session | New Contest for the Stimulation of Individual Scientific Employment | 3rd Edition

A new Contest for the Stimulus of Individual Scientific Employment – 3rd Edition, which is financed by FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia), will be open as from the 30th of January, 2020.

An information session about this contest will be held on the 6th of February (Thursday), at 15.00 (Auditorium 2, Quelhas, 2nd Floor). Free entrance.

The following are considered to be deciding factors:

  1. Junior Researcher: candidates who completed their PhD less than 5 years ago, with little post-PhD  research experience, or without a post-PhD scientific curriculum in the scientific area for which they are applying.
  2. Assistant Researcher: candidates who completed their PhD less than 5 years ago, with a relevant scientific curriculum in the scientific area for which they are applying, but with limited scientific experience.
  3. Principal Researcher: candidates who completed their PhD less than 5 years ago, with a relevant scientific curriculum in the scientific area for which they are applying, but with at least 3 years scientific experience.
  4. Coordinating Researcher: candidates who completed their PhD less than 5 years ago, who are qualified or aggregated in Portugal, and who have a highly-qualified curriculum in the scientific area for which they are applying, who can demonstrated proven scientific independence and leadership in the scientific area for which they are applying.

 
The competition will be open from the 30th of January, 2020 until 17:00 (Lisbon time) on the 26th of February, 2020.
