On the 4th of December, the Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal will host the 5th session of the “Luso-Brazilian Dialogues” conference cycle, on Science, Technology, and Society, with the participation of Professor Manuel Mira Godinho, Vice-dean of ISEG.
This conference cycle brings ‘face-to-face’ two well-known researchers, one a Portuguese, and the other a Brazilian, to discuss the theoretical and empirical problems at the centre of Contemporary Economic Policy.
This initiative has been organised by the Centre for Africa and Development Studies (CEsA) of ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management, Universidade de Lisboa, the Centre for Socioeconomic and Land Studies (DINÂMIA’CET) of Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE), the Institute for Contemporary History (IHC) of the Social and Human Sciences Faculty (FCSH) of Universidade Nova de Lisboa; with the support of the inter-university PhD in Economic Politics (ULisboa, ISCTE and ISEG) and the Masters in Human Resources Development Policies (ISCTE/IUL), as well as the Science and Technology Foundation (FCT), the Portuguese Economic Policy Association, and the Centre for Social Studies (CES) of Universidade de Coimbra and ISCTE; in partnership with BNP bank and the Casa da América Latina.
The event will take place from 17.30 to 19.15.
