Oficina Global is organising a virtual debate about change in Covid-19 times with very special guests on the 4th of March 4 at 18.00 (18.00 in Lisbon / 15.00 in in Brasília). The event will also mark the launch of the Portuguese version of the book entitled “Where Change Begins” (“How Change Happens” in the original version), by Duncan Green – who will participate in the debate.
Duncan Green is a Professor of International Development at The London School of Economics and a Senior Strategic Advisor to Oxfam GB. Will also be counting on the presence of Katia Maia, the Diretor of Oxfam Brasil, Iara Pietricovsky, the Chair of Forus International and a co-Director of both Abong and INESC, as well as Professor Clara Raposo, the Dean of ISEG. The moderator will be Professor Luís Mah, a professor of the Masters in International Development and Cooperation of ISEG and a researcher from CEsA – Centre for research in Africa and Development Studies.
Oficina Global is an initiative of the Masters in International Development and Cooperation of ISEG (Lisbon School of Economics and Management, Universidade de Lisboa) and of CEsA (ISEG’s Centre for research in Africa and Development Studies), whose objective is to reinforce the role of the University as a meeting point and a resource for all those actors who are working on and for change in global development.
