Presentation and Debate | Europeu H2020 PLOTINA Project

A Presentation and Debate on the Europeu H2020 PLOTINA Project: Promoting Gender Balance and Inclusion in Research, Innovation and Training will take place on the 22 nd of November, between 14.30 and 16.00, in the CTT Room (Quelhas building, 3 rd Floor).

The PLOTINA project ( is ISEG's first project as part of the European  H2020 project. The ISEG team (Elsa Fontainha – Coordination, Isabel Proença, Isabel Mendes and Tanya Araújo) will present an overview of the project for the next four years, as well as the activities scheduled for the next months (e.g., the launch of the first edition of the PLOTINA project for Masters dissertations). Some of the PLOTINA results already achieved for Portugal as part o the 'Science and Gender' will shortly be presented based on the paper entitled:   'The specific shapes of gender imbalance in scientific authorship: a network approach' (to be published in the   Journal of Informetrics ), by Tanya Araújo and Elsa Fontainha.

The contribution of all of the whole ISEG community is essential for this European project. Partners include the University of Bologne (IT) and the University of Warwick (UK). The seminar will also promote debate on ideas to be carried out for the PLOTINA project. We are counting on you!
