SUMMARY:

The problem of managing timetables for flight crews is introduced through a game. The aim is to draw attention to the complexity of the rules that may well affect this process, in a simple way. This introduction will lead to the definition of a model that adapts to the resolution of the problem. As in many real-world situations, the contrast between simplicity of the model and the difficulty in solving problems justifies the study of the underlying problems through different IO techniques, which will be discussed.
